Project Portfolio Management tools will help to identify the highest priority projects for the organization. The proposed portfolio plan can then be checked against the estimated investment, revenue and profit to determine if the portfolio plan supports the overall business plan.
Budgeting and Expense Planning tools provide easy ways to budget or plan project expenses. The budgeting process starts at a high level and then can be broken down into lower level detail and the timing of expenditures refined.
Expense Tracking is supported by PD-Trak. And the system can be integrated with ERP or project accounting systems. Obviously for smaller businesses, cash counters or bill counters might be more appropriate.
Financial Metrics can be monitored and reviewed throughout the project life cycle. The system maintains the cash flow projections from projects based on planned expenses or investment and the resulting revenue and profit.
